Ok so i now have two hatches mpfi swapped from dpfi with the same problem. ALL PINS ARE CORRECT!, the correct a6 dizzy and a6/pm6 ecu was used. the a6 intake mani and tb with injectors, and the tps wires were swapped. Again....ALL PINS ARE CORRECT. Im almost 100% positive that the wiring is correct considering i had a friend whose done 2317280498190248 million of these conversions look at it, and verify this. The problem is that both cars will idle smooth....crank up perfectly fine with no issues, but when when the butterfly valve is opened at any position it will bog almost as if it hits a fuel cut, and if you put it to WOT it will actually backfire through the intake. Ive had shops look at (waste of $) ive had friends look at it(waste of time) Ive scowered forums for weeks (waste of my own time). It is not throwing any CEL's whatsoever now. We reset the ecu since such was eliminated. WERE ALL STUMPED! 2 cars.....same issue.....same motors....and same conversion parts, wired and pinned the exact same....I know someone on here has to have some idea of what this is.

The only thing I could think of is; did you switch the wire on the tps? If did you did maybe someone else could help, that would be mu guess

k20rex- yes the yellow and green wires were flipped.

moog- the harness on one of them was completely untouched factory dpfi. i just added the 7wires from the ecu pin (c1+c2 for dizzy, a1-a7 for injectors, and a15 for the resistor box)

Its hella weird. All wiring is definately correct there is aboslutely no check engine lights. We havent soldered any of the wires yet due to this issue. the only thing i can think of is maybe theres a resistance somewhere like you said causing to much load on a throttle or spark related sensor, but to my knowledge i would assume that it would throw a CEL? whats weird is both cars also had the same prob, then both of them fried ignitors.....cant tell me this isnt strange lol.

with no code though? thatd be a little odd, a clogged injector would cause a problem but DEF not this severe. I mean its literally undrivable and whenever the throttle is opened it will bog down and/or backfire through the intake....the timing is DEAD on as well.

I've had this issue before, although I could not verify if it was backfiring through the intake. It happened approximately a year after the conversion, sometimes the car would experience a bog/rev limit condition around 2500rpms and wouldn't accelerate anymore (and sometimes it would die altogether while driving). I brought it into a shop, the tech stated that it was because the conversion was done in all butt connectors. He even showed me while the car was idling by grabbing the wiring going to the resistor box and bending the wires, the car died immediately. I can't say that yours is experiencing the same problem but when I read your first post last night I immediately thought of my previous issue. After reading that you haven't soldered anything yet I thought it might be worth mentioning.
