Whats the best head gasket for FI H22A?
Hi, I'm about to change my headgasket and I was wondering what is best for my 350Whp H22A? Not sure but I remember years ago someone on here stated that the stock Honda headgasket can withstand lots of power...
What do you guys recommend? Thanks!

I had no problems with a stock gasket and 8psi and stock internals. Motor ran strong up until I had sold it, and it took a decent beating while I had it too just make sure ya use arp studs
Ok there is a change in plans now lol so instead of making a new thread I thought I would post my question here and see -
Would the stock head gasket hold up for about 20 PSI??

OEM headgaskets are used in a large amount of the HIGH hp builds. You really cant beat a multi layer steel gasket when it comes to sealing up things. With a set of headstuds you should have no problem with an OEM gasket.
That being said give more info on the setup. 20psi doesnt help we need to know the build and turbo and manifold being used to better answer you questions. 20 psi on a 16g isnt the same cfm air flow as 20 psi on a gt42

Garrett T04B 50 AR / 63 (Dont know much about it - it did put out almost 300 at 8 PSI - Stock Block)
Log style Manifold with 3" DP (going into 2.5" catback)
RC Eng. 550CC Injectors & Walboro 255Lph (stock FPR)
Mahle 9:1 CR Pistons, Eagle H-Beam Rods
Stock Head
Tuning on Crome
(*** Not sure if this matters but, Kaizenspeed Balanceshaft elminator kit, Comp. Clutches Stage 4, 10Lbs Flywheel, Lightened and balanced crank pulley)
So would the stock head hold up with 20 PSI?
Also, Now I know this is now way to really tell but just roughly, what PSI should I be able to push with that turbo and what kinda whp to expect?

Just run a OEM gasket man... Unless at > 87.5mm
If bigger than that, youll need an aftermarket, at that point i recommend Commetic MLS... Ive used a GE (89mm) and was less than impressed with their bored out "oem" HGs. The bores werent centered. It looked kind of sloppy, and I DID end up having an issue with it.
I had a cometic made for me and it was NOTABLY better constructed (as far as the fire rings being nice and symmetric) .
I have a set of ARP studs FS for 80 bux... LMK if yo need em

When you say overcomplicate - how? Just wondering what you would consider as overcomplicated - thats all
