Swapping B18A engine into 2000 Integra?
ok so i have a 2000 acura integra, the timeing belt broke, the motor is shot i already did a leak down test. I want to know if my 1993 B18A1 would fit into the car, i know its obd1 but i have everything to make it a obd2 motor. Is there a difference between and sensors on the block? or anything like that. thanks

i would think that you would need to make the car obd1 instead of converting to obd2 but dont qoute me on that because im not positive. hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in with some more light for you cause im curious to read all the info
You can swap over IM,dizz from the 2000 bad engine which also has the crank position sensor on it so either you change oil pumps (put an obd-2 one in the obd-1 block) and then you can put the crank position sensor(cps) on the obd-1 block(they don't utilize one) or do the crankposition sensor trick.also don't forget to change crank gear since the obd-2 one has the gear teeth that the crank position sensor relies on for position if you don't do the trick and use the cps
