93 vtec clutch problem?

Default 93 vtec clutch problem?

car seems to grind into 3rd gear when driven after 10 mile or so? any ideas?

it's yer synchro's.
i'd try changing out the manny tranny fluid. maybe put in some thicks shiet or synthetic.
if yer synchro's on it's way out...u'd better baby the 2-to-3 shift. u'll wanna do that with lower revs.

if yer synchro's go.. u'll need to replace them.
as for the grinding being something else....hmmm.
if it's grind only going into 3rd gear etc.... then it's yer synchro. i can't think of it being something else.
anyone care to offer another suggestion?

ive heard mobil 1 gear oil is good at prolonging the death of your trans from bad syncros

Can you even put that gear oil in our tranny's???

i use redline tranny oil, and it works fine for me! feels good, but i don't really notice much difference over honda tranny oil, i don't see how the synthetic oil would hurt the tranny like some people claim??
