Default B16 with GSR tranny

So i got a question .. my buddy is looking into getting gsr tranny on his b16a2 since on his tranny his 3rd is out and he came up across a gsr tranny..so i was helping him out find out if its legit to do ...??

Yes it will work fine. However, the gears are longer than the b16 so hes gotta get used to it. But hey at least hell save gas on the freeway in 5th gear

will the car go any where with the gsr tans on it cuz i was thinking bout tradin a friend cuz i have a b16 trans on my dd n just want to make sure the car will still still get up the road like it should

I love my B16a with the GSR trans, but I don't race it. 32-36mpg, but still has the passing power I love.

thats what im lookin for something i can still get in front of some1 if i had to n get great mpg's the car is not raced just my dd

i have a gsr tranny on my b16 and it does have longer gears than a b16 but it still pulls hard

yeah so do I plus I have the LSD... Mine pulls hard no problem... I just wanted him to explain his statement of see what happens when you put that tranny on the b16...

Please tell us what will happen, factual problems. I've had mine for a couple yrs now and the only thing that I've noticed is it stays in the lower rpm range and gets great gas mileage....Besides the fact that the GSR trans has stronger synchros than the B16 trans.....
