Default Header Wrap

I was thinking about heat wrapping my headers, and i was wondering if any of you guys have done it and what i should use to do it all. and if there are any tips for doing it. thanks!!!

It works as it claims. Thermo tec or something is what I used. Just follow the instructions. Its no big deal.

No, my DC header did not rust.

And ppl here might get pissy about you adding an extra "s" to header, don't listen to them. We all knew what you meant.

It doesn't look very pleasant and is usually used in racing and turbo applications, however it will keep your bay temp down. There are a few companies that make header wrap, you shouldn't have any problems installing.

For function i recommend it. Billion (Japan) is what i recommend, not sure if any of you heard of it.

You just need the exhaust wrap itself, and some hose clamps, similar or even exactly like the ones used on intakes, to clamp around each pipe to keep the wrap from coming undone. There are a lot of different types of clamps that could work though. Just don't use zip ties and you should be fine, lol.
