so ive been trying to trouble shoot the problem ive been having on my 94 cx with a d15b vtec..i/h/e and skunk2 IM. It turns on slow and idles for about 30 seconds or so and just shuts off..the fuel pump primes most of the time.. i think its the ingnition switch because it shuts off as if i turned the key to the off position also it will turn on if i retry to start it everytime..i replaced the dizzy with a known good one,checked the grounds, replaced the spark plugs, and replaced the spark plug wires with oem wires. what do you guys think?

 

When the engine stalls, are the cluster warning lights on or off?

 

theyre off but then they come on..

well it shuts off...and theres no lights..then like a second later they come on but only the check engine light and battery light.

 

If no cluster lights are lit immediately when the engine stalls, then check the ignition switch. See diagram in FAQs sticky.
