Default New Headgasket and now no spark

Hey guys I finished my head gasket job and now I can not get the car to start. I am getting no spark. I have fuel and the timing is right. Can smell gas and rechecked the timing. The distributor I know for a fact is good. I am just not getting any spark. The ecu is working and the grounds have been checked and rechecked. Everything is plugged in. Any ideas. The car was running before it was taken apart. Any ideas.

Recheck your connectors on the distributor.

I know you checked them a few times, but permanently rule out grounds as a problem.
Manually ground by connecting a set of jumper cables from the negative pole on the battery to the cylinder head someplace or a leg on the distributor.

To me, it sounds like your ground from tranny to chassis is not well.

yeah I may try that when I come back from spring break. Really dont want to mess this car anymore. This car has been 1 step forward and 5 steps back. A week long job on this car has turned into 3 months of fixing everything. I would have left some of the stuff out but its been cracked frames and completely destroyed suspension. Some cars deserve to die and this is one of them.
