How to drain old/stale fuel from fuel tank(96' civic 2dr)
-like title states basically, i bought a 96' civic coupe shell about 6months back & jus put a swap in it...well the gas tank has about 3/4 tank of old *** gas in it, but i cant seem to find a drainplug. Theres no obvious "bulges", where plug might be covered by the undercoating..so i guess my question is how do i drain the gas without dropping tank?
maybe theres a drainbolt im just not noticing someone can advise me where to look specifically or should i try and cyphen the gas out? or should i take the time to drop the tank?
thanks in advance
& sorry, i couldnt find this info in "faq's" or a serach, i looked.

I would just siphon the gas out. You don't need it all out, just most of it. Then just fill a bucket and use it as bonfire starter.
or you could hope the old fuel pump still works, find the wires for it, and connect them to a car battery and just let the pump do the work
I agree with Vartok. I did this to my old 300zx and it worked perfect. Find the fuel lines, disconnect them and be prepared for when the fuel comes.
