someone help!!!! someone put sugar in my GAS TANK!!! fawking haters!
someone put sugar (i dont know why they choose sugar) in my gas tank.
i already drained the tank plug, flush the tank and changed the fuel filter.
now problem is.....since the tank is empty.....when i gas up the gas just SHOOTS out (go back out).....i guess its pressurize? how do i depressurize it? coz i cant put gas at all (may be a lil)
thanks

its basically 1 giant air pocket right now... The BEST way to do it is to remove the fuel pump access panel in the car, and unbolt the fuel pump so that the system can "breathe"... This way you should be able to fill the tank and get it to pressurize correctly...
Its kinda like when you pop open a can of juice... you know, the old ones that you actually had to use the can opener on? If you just poked the hole in one side, it would be all fucked up and not pour correctly... but once you stabbed the hole in the other side, the air would be allowed into the can, and it would free-flow perfectly.

Just a note tho i dont think sugar actually does anything to harm your car. I was watching MythBusters on Discovery one night and im pretty sure when they tried suger it dident do jack. Now if you wanna mess up a car use bleach Not only does the car stop running, But it also corrods the **** out of the gas tank and the internals of the engine making them all rusty Very bad very bad........
Do as i say not as i do.....

After consulting my Extensive data base i noticed there is sapossed to be a vent tube that connects to the tank to the fill up port. If that vent is plugged up somewhere possibly with dried up sugar? would that not also give you your proplem? Ive never had that proplem working on an empty or new fuel tank so im assuming that would be the best place to start. Try losening the hose above the tank itself and give that a try with a 5gal. can of gas and see what happens once. Worth a shot anyhow
