C5 motor dies when I give it gas. Car dies while driving.

The first couple of times I tried to rev it in this video, it just loses power when it goes over 3k - even though I'm pressing the gas pedal.
Then it finally just decides to rev normally at the end?
I already checked the injectors and ecu, spark, plugs I changed 7k miles ago. Brk7e11
I guess I'll double check the fuel pump, and the fuel pressure is stable.
I'm thinking maybe a vacuum line thats on the vacuum canister to itb's or something...

Oh yeah, and when I give it a bit of gas to try and hold at 3k rpm, the fuel pressure drops a bit and the rpms start going up and down. Now I'm leaning towards clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump.
I went ahead and replaced the fuel filter with one from pep boys (purolator). That seems to have cured it.
I couldn't find anyone local with a walbro 255 in stock, but I have an old one at home I am going to throw in there just to rule it out.

Update because this problem came back again recently:
I changed to a walbro pump, replaced fuel filter with oem honda.
I almost seems as if I sometimes have to free-rev over 4k rpm's and then the motor will 'break free' from whatever is causing it to do this...
I've double checked all the wiring.
Maybe I'll run some techron injector cleaner through just to be safe?
I'll recheck the distributor cap and rotor button as well...
Anything else I should check?
I have a sard fpr. Maybe I'll swap to aeromotive just to be safe?
Or perhaps it's tps or map sensor acting up?
*I'm using Crome pro with tps based mapping - the map sensor is used only for idle and light throttle cruising... It's on my vacuum canister.
Argh this is frustrating because it only happens once in a while!

Mine has been doing this for a while now randomly too. New ignitor, coil, rotor, wires, plugs, valve adjustment, fuel filter... same symptoms trying to give it gas and it just feels like it doesnt want to go anywhere.
I had this in my GSR, exact same symptoms
Mine felt like the injectors were going bad, but I never ended up getting it fixed. Keep us posted
