Ran 2006 Pilot out of gas
Ran my Pilot out of gas. Was going up a slight incline into a gas station, so had to have pushed about 50'. Now acceleration is slow, tranny shifts gears later than it was, idles rough at start up. What went wrong?

Re: Ran 2006 Pilot out of gas
possible that you clogged the filter when you're sucking sediment from the bottom of the tank? or worse, overheated the fuel pump...
but in the pilot of that year, the filter is inside the fuel tank and is really just a screen/ strainer & part of the whole fuel pump assembly

read up on the bottom part of the link & confirm that you have low fuel pressure before dropping the tank to try to clean out that screen/strainer
----------------------------------------------------
of course, you can try running some fuel cleaner through the system first <shrugs>
or disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes to reset everything...
