Ok so I recently bought a 1995 Integra GSR 2dr shell. It still has the harness and ECU. Well yesterday I bought a 1996 GSR engine and i was wondering if my 95 harness would be plug and play with my 96 engine. Or do I have to change some things up? Any help would be great!

95 is obd1 and 96 is obd2a

You can use the 95 obd1 harness if you get obd1 injectors/alternator and distributor.

 

Is that my only option?

IMO, that would be the easiest with what you have.

i was under the impression that when putting an obd2 motor into an obd1 vehicle you should use the obd2 engine harness and obd1 cabin harness. this way you can still run the obd2 alt, dizzy, etc and still plug directly to the cabin harness.

Ok maybe I didnt word it right... I have a 95 shell with harness from the shock tower to the car still there and a 96 engine with harness. Can I plug the two together and be ok?
