94 civic gsr swap, need help
i have a 94 civic coupe with a 95 gsr swap. the transmission started popping out of fourth gear so i ran it in fourth keeping the speed down and it ended up sticking in fourth gear. i could shift it to neutral and it was still in fourth. i got it freed up and can shift it normal but something is not right so its been parked, if you can check this video (horrible noise) any help is GREATLY appreciated

Internal bearings in the transmission are bad. If it was popping out of gear and then wouldn't come out of gear chances are there was no or very little fluid in it. 4th probably started welding itself to the mainshaft. Pull the tranny and take it apart and inspect it. Chances are good though from what you're saying that it's mostly junk.
shift linkages are fine, and as for the fluid i know it was fine, when it started popping out of gear i checked fluid and changed it again. i use only honda manual tranny fluid. also i meant to say it was popping out of fifth gear not fourth. it was also starting to shift very hard, i stopped driving it after the probs started so hopefully not too much got damaged.
if i leave the car idleing in neutral long enough it will pop into gear and stall itself out so something expensive is wrong... ever heard anything like that happening?

whats wrong with the si tranny? if its intact use it....its shorter geared and will make ur car a **** load quicker assuming ur car is naturally aspirated and im not positive for sure if the si parts will work in the gsr tranny
If what happened is what I think happened about the only thing salvageable will be the case. Everything you've posted is consistent with running a transmission with no fluid. If this did happen the gears will be severely softened. Again, pull the tranny, pull it apart and inspect for damage.
i dont have the tranny, i can get it if needed. i can pick it up for 200 bucks which is mad cheap from what ive seen. plus it comes with an act stage 2 clutch kit. and yes its n/a just had a high comp. rebuild so the shorter gears will help for sure. Gotta get my poor civic out from storage we have about 5 feet of snow here....
a had an si tranny in my 99 ex with a cammed ls swap and a chipped p28 and it was smokin gsr's and si's all day...it was quick as hell but with the tach stoppin at 7800 it was maxin about 130-135 at redline in 5th...u got extra rpms so u should be fine

im not raceing lambos so top speed doesnt matter. usually after getting spanked up to 100 they back off b.c theres no chance of catching up. plus i drag at an 1/8 mile track
if youd like i could make a video to show you it wasnt running on no fluid, i take care of my honda im not a rich kid that gets nething they want i work for what i got. i work at a mechanic garage i think i know how to keep up on tranny fluid. i know your just trying to help but thats very insulting. like i said that was the very first thing i checked was fluid
very possible that could have happened bc like i said it was deffinetely full of fluid. either way im putting the si tranny in and ill rip apart the gsr tranny in my spare time. if anyone has a tranny thatll fit a gsr that they will ship cheap let me know. has to be hydrolic
