Sometimes when I make a hard U-turn, my oil light goes off blinking. So, I thought I was low on oil after a fresh rebuild, but when I checked my oil level on the dip stick it was above the second dot. What could be a cause of this?

i'm good on oil but the oil light came on recently

There is a possibility your oil pickup could be dirty and it's not able to feed the pump as well as it should. Is it only when you turn hard?

 

Sounds like oil starvation but maybe a bad sender. Install a real oil pressure gauge and see what it's doing.
