Default urgent headgasktet question!!

ok here it is...i have a cousin with 3 supras....says for a metal head gasket you need the block machined...i got to a shop...he says no you dont...
so who to believe???

im aiming for a full build and 75%chance illl turbo by the summer(economy)

ok so what headgasket would you recomend?? any websites?
also im doing ls/vtec...that will narrow it down... if i could get any imput also what would be some good rods and pistons toget also??? PISTONS PEOPLES HAVE TRIED PBEFORE and RODS!!!!!

just want imput!!... but so many brands and websites...
not a noob but asking for opinions...thanks for the help in advance

A block only needs to be decked if the surface is warped. Do some research or look in the All Motor forum. Plenty of ls/vtec builds in there.

OEM headgaskets have proven to make some beastly power over and over again so why run anything other then oem or maybe cometic..?

MLS head gaskets MUST be decked with a very fine RA wheel designed specifically for them. if you use a standard cutting wheel and deck a head or block it WILL leak. 90%+ of B series blocks will be distorted after 100k miles and it's a REALLY good idea to have them decked for the re assembly
