Ok so my crx started throwing code 4 ckp sensor. I looked at the dizzy and the teeth for the sensor were broken. I got a good dizzy and started it up but the same thing happened. Is there something else that could cause the ecu to throw the ckp sensor?

 

try resetting the ecu.

thats odd, try a different ecu?

 

I tried 2 already lol no more money for another one... I'm going to redo the timing again with the good dizzy and see if the works. The last dizzy and ecu came out of the same car with no cels so I know they are good.

 

Check the wiring look for losse connection??

 

I didn't think to do that. The previous owner did a wire tuck so that may be it.

 

It could be if a new dizzy or ecu didn't fix it. the only thing left is the wiring. So start checking
