tight is tight, broken is too tight..

its thin plastic, just tighten them real snug. i dont think any of those screws hold any needles in so i wouldnt worry about it too much

ok here is the thing. they where all tight so when i started my car in the morning which was cold the temp went pass hot. so i was messing with the temp + and - and the needle would wither go to very hot or cold but if it was in cold it stayed there even though my car is warmed up

Too tight bro... I did the same thing to my gas gauge. If you are lucky, you wont need to buy a whole new cluster, just look around, some people will just sell you the specific part (fuel, temp...) You just want it snug, not to tight. The screws complete the circuit and if it is too tight, the current wont pass.

Just take your bezel off and paint it red...trade to young kid and tell him the temp gauge doesn't need to work, that temp gauges are for suckas.
