Today, i took out my guage cluster in my 1991 integra LS...and after putting it back in, when i took it out for a spin, the speedometer, doesnt read, it just rapidly shoots from one speed to the other, in a ticking motion, back forth back forth back forth and so on. and its really really fast, what did i do wrong? speedo cable not in the cluster right or what? Please help, need this done so i can drive it this spring!

Are you sure you plugged it in all the way and its
seated correctly.

 

Sounds like you have a short somewhere, my tach did the exact same thing, found a bare wire in the engine bay which would touch the chassis when driving.

Double check the wires in the cluster, you might have them reveresed.
