I just got an 98 itr cluster from a friend. I was wondering if theres any way that i can tell if the cluster works with out plugging it in like if the needles funtion properly
The problem i have now is that when you spin the needle on the mph side it doesnt come all the way back it gets stuck at a certain point, but the rpm needle is fine also the temp needle doesn't stay at one point it moves all the way to hot.

so i was wondering if once i plug it in it will function right

just try it. takes about 2-3 minutes to remove the cluster.

is there anyway that i can find out with out plugging it in cause the ony thing that really bothers me is the mph needle is it suppose to spring back

 

yes i just put mine in last night,

Temp needle slowly back to C
RPM goes back to 0
Speed goes back to 0
Fuel sits where every you put it.

Maybe you can use a friends car for 5 min. (integra)
