Im trying to boost my type r.. and i dont want cheap ****.. but i came across some cl post..

So these guys claim these are real greddy kits. are there knock of greddy kits?

he claims its real cuz it says greddy on the manifold. i need help. hes selling it for $500 cuz he claims he needs the money.

and as for the other guy..

have you heard of a XS POWERSPORTS TURBO KIT ? yay or nay??

and for the other dude..

have you guys heard of a 18g turbo kit? he says its discontinued. let me know!!

Cant see the greddy kit on my phone good but xs power is barely a notch above ebay kits if at all

you have a lot to learn.

start by reading the faq's stickied at the top of this forum.

xs power is ebay garbage.

the 18g kit is probably real, it looks like a real greddy kit from the pic.... it wont make 500hp but it will make for a fun street car... expect mid 200's from it with a good tune.

you'll still need fuel management as from the looks of it the greddy kit doesnt come with any

so at minimum you'll need 440cc injectors, a walbro, a chipped p28 and that should do you. your tuner should be able to supply everything else needed to tune.

i would personally get a wideband as well, so you can monitor a/f ratios and its a good indicator if something starts to go wrong later down the road.
