How to Replace Camshaft Plug??? '02 Civic
I took my car (2002 Civic LX 1.7L) to the dealer the other day for a second turn signal install & they told me that my Camshaft Plug was leaking. I noticed that it was seeping a VERY MINOR amount, but after the dealer looked at it, it is coming out a little more than normal. They quoted me $120 for this plug... I took a look at it and it looks like the old one snaps out and the new one snaps in.
Can I just pry out the old one & snap in the new one?
Some people say that you just pry it out & others say you have to loosen the camshaft...
If anyone can help me that would be great! I just don't have the money to pay the dealer. Thanks in advance for any help you give me!!!!

Thanks for your help!!! I will try to do it this weekend...
Would you recommend replacing the valve cover gasket while I'm in there?
Also, I am going to get my timing belt done next month. Is this something that gets done when that is taken care of?
Thanks for all of your help!!!!
I would just have them replace the cam cap while they're replacing the timing belt, since the valve cover will be off anyway. (yes, they should install a new VC gasket)
