Good reputable shop around Lynnwood for B20V problems??
Hey everyone, having some issues with my B20V and looking for a good reputable shop that has decent prices around the Lynnwood area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
i dont know of anything around lynnwood that works on honda's.. but i know intec racing can do it down in kent. not the cheapest but from my experience they do the best job.
What kind of problems are you having? My boyfriend built his b20v he can maybe help? I dont reallie know of any shops up north but I would suggest ASP in kent.
I just bought the car knowing it had problems but I got it for a steal. The motor just doesn't want to run and it runs really rough the few times it started. I could probably figure it out but I just don't have the time.

vtr does engine work...they also do suspension, audio and tint. I've seen some swaps they've done, very clean work. thier tech guy knows a ton about honda's, and is a good quick worker. and their open on saturdays. 425-267-9797. Zach will fix it for ya
also a cool thing about VTR, they'll work with you and give you a good deal, their not out to scam you. they've done simple stuff for me in the parking lot and didn't charge me for it. my fog lights wouldn't come on even after I replaced the bulbs, and tried looking for a disconnected wire. So i went up there and Les their audio guy just came outside with some wire cutters and extra wire, found the problem and fixed it, no charge. their a good bunch of guys who know alot about cars.
Thanks everyone for the help! Some good news is I found out what some of the problem is, but that is where the good news ends. Pulled #1 spark plug to find that the piston crushed the bottom. It looks like tomorrow after I get off duty I'll be pulling the head off to inspect the extent of the damage.
well i dont know currently, but i have seen a swap that VTR did in the past. throwing all kinds of cool CEL's. told the owner he needed a new map sensor, VSS, some other ****...
helps if you plug the **** in, and the map sensor on a actual vacuum source... took me all of 5seconds to fix, and clear the codes...
and this was a take out old motor and put in the same new motor. not even a conversion.

well I've been going there for about 8 months, and my buddy who referred them to me has been going there for about 3 years. everything we have seen since than was always legit and no problems. maybe the guys working there before didn't know what they were doing, but the guys there now have always been able to give me nothing but good info and work out deals with me when I may not be able to afford everything
VTR is a complete joke.
When I was deployed overseas, my buddy wasn't patient and decided to have VTR do her swap and guess what? Apparently they hire inexperienced mechanics because the swap was a mess.
