im looking for a good shop in the denver area (im in boulder, CO, but theres no chance in hell theyll ever put a shop here). let me know where you go, and why you think theyre a good shop. im looking for a place that can tune also. thanks for any input.

i used to live in arvada...i got alot of my turbo stuff at TEC (turbocharger engineering corp) in golden. For engine work i highly recommend Proformance Engine in denver. For misc car repaire i would goto honaccurate in boulder. As for speed shops you have a few choices, racing trendz (bunch of ricers) and asylumn motorsports (which are never there and have super bad service). Personally i would let either of those two shops touch my car. But if you have to pay parts from them so be it.

personally i mail ordered anything i bought..and installed it myself.

Theres also Paragon Tuning on Havana street in Aurora. They also have a dyno. Pretty decent shop. I go to Co. at least once a year and the guys at paragon are pretty cool.

yeah, I wouldnt recommend asylum either. I got some crappy m3 fenders from them last summer that wouldnt fit on my car.

Also there is a place called import sports near quebec and evans... in south east denver, they are ok.

import sports...anyone know anything about them??..heard they have a 9 sec drag car...in that high elevation....

they put in my short shifter, it went well... cheap, fast, etc... I talked with them for a little while, they made an all angine 13 sec sohc and some other cool civs... these kids blue SI they did up has everything, nos, turbo, etc.... They seem capable.

Go to Highaltitudeimports.com and talk to the members their. For parts, reputable online vendors are the best for prices etc.
