Might have been custom. Don't ever recall seeing anything that you're describing.

I think they are discontinued now, but APR made some of the nicest and beefiest strut bars around for many Honda models. I wish i had a pic, but here's a link to an EK one

Rigid Bars Maybe? They are Kinda Rare and most of the time they are Yellow at least thats what they came out of the Factory!
