This is one of the reasons you don't buy a car already modded. How do you know the engine is stock? You've already stated you know nothing about it and now you're already talking about swapping engines?

According to what you've posted in the recent past the car is SUPPOSED to be capable of pushing 370hp so swapping an engine to build for 400 is kind of, how shall I say this? Stupid. Did you ever get the dyno sheet from the dealer that proves this?

Is this possible. also i have it set to 8 psi now and want 12 how do i do that/
In another post you state that MAYBE something has been done with the sleeves. So there is a possibility the car is already built.

But anyway its pushing 8 psi of boost right now and the guy said that its safe up to 12-14 psi but nothing past that.

My ?'s

Its only at 4 psi until the higher rpms then it goes to 8 psi. Is there something i can do to make it build up to 8 instead of 4 at the mid ranged rpms... maybe buy a known turbo or another alt. Suggestions?

What do I have to do to up the boost... i have an external wastegate...?
Hell. How do you know it's even pushing 8lbs at the moment? One post you say that you have a Garrett and the other you say it's a no-name turbo. One post you bought it off of a daler. Another post you say oyou bought it off of a guy. All you seem to have a hard-on for is turning up the boost while you SHOULD be trying to find out what you've got under the hood.

Pretty expensive learning tool you're going to have there. Find out what you have before you start trying to make any changes. People have given you this advice already but you seem to not want to hear it.

if you have to ask how to make 400 hp, your not even close to being ready to drive 400 hp.

let him turn the boost up and let him learn the hard way about "assuming" what the seller says. i bet its a stock b20 with a turbo thrown on making maybe 200 hp at most. i can't see a b20 making 320 hp with only 8 psi boost on a no name turbo.

If it is a stock b20 i wouldnt try modifying anything until you learn a whole lot more about the setup and about boost. Also what is special about this 400 whp mark maybe you should get it dyno'd and see where you are at and go from there. Not just looking at your peak power but the whole power band but your most def in a bad spot with limited info about the setup.
