Removing Oil filter only?
I was wondering how much oil will drain if I remove the oil filter only. I'm trying to remove my adapter for the gauges, and don't want to do a full drain. I know it's not a lot of work, but just curious anyway
They shrunk the oil filter in the early 2000s. I prefer that the oil filter impart a minimal pressure drop. The S2000 filter is more in line with the original size oil filter. I also am finishing off a 10-pack.

be sure and turn it over and prime the sytem before you check again or you wont get an accurate reading. you can pull your plug wires and turn it over or crank it and turn it right back off a couple time or just let it run it really doesnt matter since your only barley short
According to our local dealer, Honda is switching the s2000 to the same filter all other Honda's use. The larger filter for the s2000 is now discontinued or heading that way. My buddy just tried to pickup a few the other day. You might want to hurry and buy another case.
Just an FYI...
