overheating problem

Default overheating problem

upper rad hose hot ,lower rad hose not ??
thermostat or water pump?

Check the thermostat first and then the water pump....I always try to eliminate things from the easiest part to change to the hardest.

ok,when i take out the thermostat ,what should i look for ?if it is the prob i shouldnt be able to push it open right?

Do you have a manual? It tells you how to test it in there. I suggest getting one if you don't already have one because it is one of the best things I have ever bought for my car.

problem happened on the way to my parents garage,my manual is 15 miles away at my apartment
