over heat problem...help!!
i have a b16a2 in a eg and when i was driving today i knowdess that my car was over heating and the water was leaking so i told it home..change a new radiator and thought the problem was fix..when i drove it for like 3 min it over heated again...so i figure the fan wasn't working so i made a switch...drove it about 3 min and overheated again...does anyone know what is the problem? is it the thermostat?? cause it seem like the antifreeze won't go in and..it want to come out of the top of the radiator...cause the hose get hella hard and steam and water is spashing out....could it be the thermostat? or water pump or etc..if it is the thermostat is it easy to change...( bolt on)? or is it hard then it looks..thanks

yeah I would replace the thermostat but get one from honda dont get one of the ones from autozone or such they always go bad and everyone on here always say that they have to get another one in a month or so. So I would defeintly get the thermostat and see if that works

Is there any puddles of radiator fluid gathering under the car at all? That was my first clue that I had a little issue... Mine puddles were forming under the drivers side, which indicated a water pump problem... Turns out, the previous owner never changed the water pump at all.
And with 121,000miles, it needed to be done. Just check around to see if there is any radiator fluid running around... But my guess would be that is it the thermostat.
Good luck,
