heater question
idk if you all saw my other post, but I recently bought this car, and it does not have heat haha....ehhh
anyways, he told me what was missing was the "valve on the firewall"
is that something that can be easily obtained and taken care of?
Does that description make sense? Like I said before I'm not the most mechanically inclined person especially with a Honda, so this is all a learning process for me.
I appreciate any help that can be thrown my way.

Two coolant hoses run from the engine to nipples on the firewall. The two hoses supply hot coolant from the engine to the heater core behind the dash. Are these two hoses connected? If so, one of the two hoses (inlet) connects to a valve. This valve is controlled by a cable from the heater control panel. If the cable is disconnected, then you can manually turn the valve on so that hot coolant can circulate through the heater core.
