i have a boosted civic and when i was driving the other day I noticed that if I get on it at around 6k it will hit fuel cut(i think?) as if it was being revved past the limiter.. i did a valve job which fixed the issue for about a day but now it's doing it again, any suggestions?

 

Get it re-tuned.

 

Definitely on the list, speedfactory did a shitty job but it wasn't doing this before so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it.

 

Your car will run differently depending on the seasons/weather/altitude. What AFRs do you get on your wideband when you get the "cut"?

 

i had a friend with a boosted eg doing the same thing.
he is running a b18 non vtec on 14psi....

he actually had a boost leak somewhere and ordered a new BOV.
