ac noise when at idle.
hey sup guys. i have this annoying sound coming from inside the bay near the crank pulley at idle. i cant figure it out but when its at start up idle youll here this hard to explain sound. So randomly one day at idle while getting ready to leave from work i turn on the ac and the noise goes away. when i turn off ac, noise comes back.
do you guys think my ac compressor is going out?
or needs to be recharged all the way?
lmk what you guys think.
here some info on the car and engine:
95 del sol si
w a 95 gsr eng and trans with p/s and ac.
i used the gsr ps pump
using my sohc ac compressor w the crv P7J ac bracket

the belts bend at a 45 degree angle when i tighten the tensioner. where exactly is the compressor clutch? where can i buy a replacement tensioner?
if it is the clutch, its just a matter of time before it fails. What kind of noise? Bad clutch usually makes a rattling noise. My pulley bearing went bad. It made a "screaming seal" noise. I think I paid like $30 at oreilly for a new pulley

yeah its hard to tell what noise it made. i wanna say like a bad waterpump sound. ill see...imma go change the pulley since its cheaper than a new or rebuilt ac compressor.
hard for me to tell too. i put a long screw driver on the compressor body and listened to the screwdriver. also did it to the idler bracket and they sounded loud compared to the ps pump.
