Default Oxygen Sensor Problem

My car has started skipping and jerking really bad and it threw the #1 code which is o2 sensor so I replaced my o2 sensor last night and went out it did fine for a while but it started skipping again and threw the same code. It allows me to go only around 100 miles. So what could it be, I really have no idea what could be the problem. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Well I think it resets itself when I turn it off because my hazards fuse is blown. Am I right on that? If not then I didn't.

No you have to reset the ecu you can pull the hazard. Fuse under the hood or remove the neg cable off the battery. Also you said the fuse is blown so replace it see wat happens if it blows again wiring by the ecu could possible be messed up or the wiring for your hazard could be messed up

are you running rich/lean? this could also cause the o2 to go bad.

look at the o2 sensor. if its really dark/burt then your running rich. if its light/white then lean.

The old one was a khaki color so I guess I'm running lean, right? How do I fix that?

Whoah! you cant just skip over and ignore this!

The HAZ fuse is what powers the ECU!

Are you saying the car only did 88 miles on a tank full of Gas?
If that is all you are getting from a tank of gas then you have to be running really rich, you need to find out where the gas is going.

I should have phrased that better I meant I could only go 88 miles or use 3 gallons out of that tank.
