Hey everyone, I had an idea and wanted to to get some feed back on it before I tried it. I was thinking of putting a fuel cell in the spare it spot of my 96 civic trunk.I want to keep my stock gas tank. I was thinking of using some kinda switch like you see in trucks with dual tanks this is so I can run pump gas on one map and flick the map switch..go to high boost..flick the switch and use race gas. has anyone ever done this or can it even be done? like i say this is just an idea I was thinking of. thanks
How much power do you plan to make on 'high boost'. You could always use water/meth injection with pump gas to achieve your power goals without some complicated fuel system.
I do something similar. I use two different maps and you can connect it to a toggle from the service connector. I do not use two fuel tanks however. I just drain the tank and fill half way with Q16. I am moving towards just a fuel cell now and getting the car off the street.
Two pumps? Two fuel tanks? figuring out how your gonna mesh it all together and hope its right so you have the right fuel on the right map sounds a bit interesting.

well right now im at 396whp and 300wtq at 11 psi...I plan to maybe move that down to like 350 whp for street and maybe like 450 whp for strip. I was just thinking it would be cool if I was just out and about on a back road flick two switches and run like hell...I'm just not sure how or if I would do it
