Help me pick a turbo...
The motor is an H23a1, 2.3L. The goal is to make at least 400whp. It won't be a daily driven motor, so something a little extreme is encouraged.
Also, redline would be a stockish 7500 rpms (due to poor R/S ratio), with fully built internals/sleeves/valvetrain. I'm trying to find a turbo that can push 25+psi within these specs...
I'm looking at a t4/60-1. I don't have a compressor map for it, so I can't decide if it'll flow enough to meet my needs (or maybe it'll flow too much?) And if this turbo won't work, what would you recommend?
Thanx for any info...the FI forum ROCKS!

for your 400 whp goal..i vote t3/60-1
I rather have a turbo that has killer top end, as compared to quick spool up and taper off up top. Turbo lag is not always a bad thing, especially when this motor is going into a CRX.
Instant boost + 2.3L = torque = wheelspin Get my drift?
yeah, you could get a.82 a/r . that will help with it spooling later..
a straight t4 would definately spool later and support your goals +more.
there are many ways you could go!!!

T04s or T4/60-1 will suit you great. Check out Precision Turbo as well, they were going to fab me up something custom for 550whp out of a 1.9L for about $775 shipped.
