Default Question for the turbo guru's

Build info:
Dart 2.0 84.5mm block
Balanced and polished crank
Pauter rods
Je 9:1 pistons
Custom baffled 5.5 qt oil pan
RHS racing aftermarket head (Gsr cast)
Victor x intake mani
Itr cams
Bdl70mm tb
Fererra flat face valves
Supertech springs and retainers
Full race ram horn (t3)
3" vband dp
Precision 750hp ic.
Aem ems
T1 racing hall sensor kit
Ls1 coils setup for direct fire
Id1k's
Aem fuel rail and fpr
Bosh 044 inline walbro intank
Exedy twin disc

Now I'm trying to decide on the turbo, this will be a car that is driven on the streets but I want it to be a beast! Goal is 550-575 on pump gas and 700ish on race gas. I want to make big power but I don't want to change to a t4 housing/manifold. I don't want to wait two weeks for the turbo to spool. I understand that with these HP goals i will have lag and im ok with that. like i stated i really plan on this just being a street car and im sure ill take it to the track and make a few passes but its not going to be a purpose built drag car. i dont ever intend on trying to drive on the street at 700hp. im sure it will be more than a hand full at 550+ even with a set of the largest ET streets i can stuff under it and boost by gear/mph.

I've been looking at the precision 6262 bb billet and the 6765 Also the turbonetics 6465 bb with the billet wheel and the turbonetics 6665. Has anyone used these turbonetis turbos? can anyone shed any light on the benefits of each?
Thank you for time

His opinion is probably worth more than you'd get from someone else.

I'm running a BW S360 and will be looking for close to the same #'s as you. I did the math and looked at compressor maps and it looks to be a good match.

Precision 6265 billit is a good choice. I made 611 @ 26psi with that turbo on a 1.6L and had to stop tuning due to I only have a walbro 255 in the tank. With a bigger fuel pump my tuner said we will make over 700 easy

U might also want to check out precision. Im doing a build with a 6776h and it hits around 650 to 700 at around 20psi.

LMAO That dyno needs to be calibrated then.

6776H Ill take that as its an old school cast wheel, 67mm with a 76trim exhaust wheel with an H cover comp housing, correct? That turbo will never make that much power on 20psi even on straight methanol. Not on a 4 cylinder anyway.

I have the turbonetics 6665 T3 flange. I'm currently at 640whp@27psi... I like the turbonetics its produced decent amount of power and its low boost for my setup at the moment!

U didn read my post correctly. It said "im doing" present tense so I haven't finished. My car hasn't been dynoed. And that's what precisions websire rates it around. And actually u aren correct its 76mm compressor wheel and 67mm exhaust wheel. Garret started using this sytem where the wheel inducer size is backwards I.e. exhaust wheel first compressor wheel second, and many turbo manufacturers adopted using it as well. I would post theflow rates but I haven found them when googled it just pops up forums about buick grand nationals using them. But if I find them ill post them. As big as this turbo is im sure it could handle 600hp easily with a. 81ar, 4 inch inlet, 3 inch outlet, and 3 inch compressor outlet. And im not sure what u mean by saying on a four cylinder anyway. Can u clarify that. Last I checked a turbos flow rates are not affected by number of cylinders. Maybe im mistaken?

And if u read rollinx25's post he is running a turbonetics 6665 t3 which is smaller than the 6776 I have that is t4 and he says he is at 640hp so I do think my turbo is fully capable of 650 to 700hp on a 4 banger not on straight meth. Just saying

And, and I forgot to add ur wrong about the numbers being the trim, its the size of the inducer on both wheels. The trim is found by taking the inducer and dividing it by the exducer then multiplying by 100. The trim is the slope or angle the blades are. With that said a turbo can actually have two trims since to find the trim u do that little formula and it applies to both wheels therefore u could possibly have a different trim on one wheel than the other.

The 6265 Billet will easily support your goals. No reason to go bigger and sacrifice spool if you can make the power with less.
