Wheel studs or Hub?
busted 2 studs on my 4 lug so now im riding on 2 lugs (across from eachother) on the front passenger side wheel & the right rear side has 3.
i plan to do the 4 wheel disc soon but i HAVE to get this front passenger side wheel fixed asap.
can i pop out the hub bearing without a press or puller & not ruin my ****?
i couls jsut buy a new front hub and be done with it but i dont know how worn out that stuff is and i dont want to buy new. Ide buy new studs but how much of a headache might this end up being?
any help or ideas on what i can exactly fit under my 15inch gsr fat fives without modification . how big can i go. and where do i get the parts? what car what year series ect...
any help would be nice.

& i want to do the studs, but alot of the mechanics around here say i have to disasseble the hub to get the new studs in. which requires pulling and repressing the bearing WHICH MIGHT RUIN THE BEARING.
anyone that has done this with more info?
thanks

When I had my stud replaced it was easy as pie for the tech. The information I see online makes it looks pretty hard depending on exactly how your hub is built.
The problem is the clearance behind the hub. The video I saw showed the guy grinding down the side of the stud and leaving it in the freezer overnight. Then he used an air chisel to push it through past the hub/spindle deal there.
Like I said, when mine was done it was easy, but I'm not sure exactly how it was done.

the rear definitely be done with the hub on the car.
for the fronts you have two options:
1. leave the hub on and try to slip new studs through the back past the knuckle. im not sure about clearance on ef's but it has been done before. as someone else mentioned, a little grinding may be required.
2. remove the knuckle and have a shop press out the bearing and hub. if done properly there will be no bearing damage. once the hub it out you can hammer in/out new studs in about 5 minutes.

I'm with dpetro1 on point number 1 but with point number 2 the bearing ALWAYS splits in half. Whenever it's opened like that I suggest to get a new one. You might be out $45 for a brand new one from Honda. Odds are it'll do you good to replace it anyway.

i know the propper way to do it. but i dont want to travel across the world finding shops with tools i can use.
i want to do this with my impact wrench 3/8 drive ratchet and a few hand tools.
I have no press & i dont want to spend any more than about 20 bucks on this 19 year old hunk of ****.

Grind off just enough to get it past the hub/knuckle/spindle.
Any real shop can't legitimately do this I think. You are grinding off part of the lip piece that keeps it from pulling through the hole.
It's kindof a catch-22. You are not going to have wheel bearing issues with a younger car, but it's hardly worth it to pay for special tools or new parts for a rusty old car.
