Default looking for ideas on an LS or b20 swap

basically trying to gain some info on what i should do. Any experences is appriciated. Even possibly B20 bottom end with LS head, IM, TB. What does everyone think. This application is going on my 92 hatch project and will in most cases see a turbo down the road so either motor will get paired up with an LS tranny, dont know what final drive though.

If you're going to boost your motor down the road you might want to keep your 1.8 block to run higher boost. For all motor a B20 block with LS head would be a killer in a hatch, then get some 403 with the built valvetrain, or even 404's.
Hope this helps.

I am indeed wanting to go turbo down the road. However, with a preped/balanced bottom end with a girdle on there i think the b20 should be solid. I like the larger displacement to attempt to get some more torque out of her. Also, with an LS head and IM on there it should work out well.....at least this is what i have researched. Anyone else hear or done otherwise??

no no, not out of place at all. Im not positive either. I have just"heard" that the LS head is a stronger head with different cams anyway. But again, not sure. I know the IM is idfferent though.
