I have to choose between these 2 motors...I want to turbo the motor after a couple a months..i want to know which one can hold more boost? The block is going to be all stock and the head is goin to be built a little with valves cams and port n polish...so wut is better?

i would go with the LS block, the sleeves are a bit thicker than the b20 it can and will take up to 12 pounds of boost but if you get on with low miles and in good con. and it's cheaper. but this is just me it could go away way.

Re: B20 or LS?? (mskibbz-T)
ls motors have thicker sleeves than a b20...its a 9mm as opposed to the b20's flimsy 7mm. but dont expect that b20 to last long because those sleeves will crack. do a search on b20 turbos. youll find the alot of people are doing the same thing wrong when turbocharging a bone stock b20. ls will definitely hold up longer than the b20. hope this helps

Re: B20 or LS?? (TurboTony)
just like everyone else i say to go with the b18b. they hold more boost with the stock bottom end and are a very good engine, especially when the bottom end is built. get the b18b now and build the bottom end later.

If a B18B is fully built and sleeved it would be the same as a fully built and sleeved B20B

LOL...Maybe if you sleeved the LS first.
I've had the B20 and the LS. B20 isn't worth it unless you are running conservative and low amounts of boost
