Default vtec oil pressure switch

is their a way to check the vtec oil pressure switch? my ecu keeps showing code 22 and can;t figure out whats wronge. i think the switch might be bad. is their a way to check it?

thanks this forum is great its helped me alot with my swap
still no answers to my clutch problem

try starting your car and putting a multimeter accross the two connections on the sensor, my guess is that it should be a short circuit, ie < 1ohm.

if youre still having problems, try chopping the two wires that go to the sensor (leaving enough wire to re-join them when required) and just joining them together, if this worksyou know youre wiring is ok, and its a problem with the sensor or oil pressure

Yeah check that...

my problem was the pin at the ecu. it was halfway fallin out.
