Default head gasket questions

I'm replacing mine on my stock d16 because is was blown. I removed it and the thing is glued on the block side and head side. The question is what is the best way of getting it of, scaping was my first bet byt I don't want to damage anything. Any suggestions on how to get this clean

Well if you dont want to do the razor blade method because you dont want to scratch it. They sell a gasket remover (at horbor freight) specificaly for gasket removal and it just goes on with a drill bit and wont damage your surface.

Thank you sounds good ill try that, I satarted with the razor blade and shopvac but its gona take some time. Any ideas or sugestions will be apriciated.
