Anybody no the deal with Gude Performance ? Back in the day I know they were a great engine builder. I have been out of the scene since 2000 just getting back in it here recently.I am Building a 92 GSR all motor looking for a good p&p head....

 

2000, isnt that about the time they left?

 

gude was a really good company. In the infancy of the scene. There throttlebodies are good to this day. The camshafts are regrinds which isnt the best choice when it comes to cams nowadays.

Gude has always used the "Bullfrog" name. I can say from first hand experience, Bill Gude can tell you one thing one day . And you can show up the very next day and he will look at you like you are crazy. He has a horrible memory. His head porting was ok. He got most of his power from milling the hell out your head and valve job. The rest was just fluff.

 

I had a bullfrog head pack with there team cam in my d16a6 back in highschool. Stock block in a full weight 91 crx si i ran a 14.4@97mph on street tires. This was way back in 2001-2002.

 

Remember a import tuner artical on him waaaaaaaay back, title was, "Gude Head" lol
