So first let me say that my engine is fully built, no corners cut at all. This engine made over 500whp when it was boosted. I have decided to go n/a in my itr. Just not sure what Size injectors to use. Any POSITIVE feedback is welcome.

Engine;

B18c1 sleeved
85mm 10:1 cp pistons
Eagle rods
Arp everything from the bottom to the top
Head has been ported, polished, dual valvesprings etc (head was sent to endyne)
Ctr cams-Will probably upgrade to skunk pro-1's
All In Fabrication Intake manifold-this was built for boost and I will probably lose power.
Stock fuel lines-Will put a walbro in tank.

Now my question is what size injectors to run? Right now I have precision 1000cc injectors, obviously too big.

I'm thinking some dsm 450 or 550's will work and be effective?

Any help is appreciated, if I left anything out I apologize.

 

450-550 will be more then fine

FYI, I'm running 1000cc ID injectors on my 200whp 1.8L R motor. It doesn't matter what size you use as long as you have a tuning system to control them.

 

Also, dual valvespring don't mean they can take pro1.
ITR valvetrain is not enought for aftermarket cams.

I suggest you a 3'' or 3.5'' intake arm and if possible think about bumping your CR.

 

i have skunk pro valvesprings, I am keeping my cr the same as I may turbo it later. You didn't say what size injectors though......
