What size injectors
I am supercharging my d16. What size injectors should I use? Ive been hearing 450cc just to be safe but I don't have money to throw at the engine. Looking to make 250hp. Thanks

Re: What size injectors
You can use a set of DSM 450s with ease. If you want to get a general idea of how to size injectors, you use the 6cc/whp method. It isn't exact by any means, but it gets you a good guess...
450cc (per inj) x 4inj = 1800cc total
1800cc / 6cc (per whp) = 300whp
If you want to use E85, you use 7.8cc (per whp) rather than 6cc. In this case that would give you 230.76whp. Again, these are all approximate numbers. There are several other variables which factor into this equation in real life. Use this formula only to get close...

Re: What size injectors
quick guideline for injector to power rating given a base fuel pressure between 40-50psi:
240cc/min (stock): 170-180whp
310cc/min: 200-240whp
370cc/min: 250-275whp
440cc/min: 300-325whp
550cc/min:350-375whp
650cc/min: 400-425whp
750cc/min: 450-475whp
1000cc/min: 600whp
1200cc/min: 700whp

Re: What size injectors
Check into it more before you buy injectors. I think bigger is actually better that way you can keep the duty cycle down on the injectors / bigger injectors wont have to work as hard to supply fuel . Bigger injectors will also leave you room for expansion horsepower wise in case you decide to go turbo down the road you dont want to have to buy injectors again ! I currently have a JRSC gsr and am running 680cc precisions and horsepower wise I am no where near what they are good for hp wise .
