Timing and Idle goes crazy when engine has load. Details inside.
If anyone is familiar with the p2j head, it has a stock 16 cam/lobe cam shaft and was distributed in the philippines as the 1.6 sohc similar maybe to the D16y8.
What happened is that i changed the camshaft / rocker arms to the JDM d15b which has 20 cam/lobe. Idle's great with no load. When I turn the A/C on, the compressor ticks like the box is shutting it down to compensate the idle. it goes even to 300 rpm and electricity fluctuates like crazy. When i feed it 1.2k RPM at idle (no load) and turn the A/C on, it goes down to 800-900 RPM. Anyone has any idea why it happens? Tuning issue? Any help will greatly be appreciated.
