here my question :

I've got a 94 teg rs with a b20b base and a sir head and a 50 shot of nitrous. My transmission is wreck and i wonder what would be the best transmission to replace mine (gsr.sir.ls) ??? Im looking for the best performance faor drag racing !!!

 

sir tranny....b16 and R trannies are the shortest gearing

 

I'm also curious as to which tranny is best for drag. I know that the Si/ITR tranny has the shortest gearing, but does it make that much of a difference? If it did, wouldn't the Si be much closer to the GSR in a drag race? When the GSR and Si go head to head, the GSR pulls away so hard in 3rd gear.

SI has the better tranny. GSR has more torque than an SI. Plus the SI is a heavy civic. The difference is only .2 in the quarter stock.

The ITR will help in drag racing with the lsd. The SI tranny is half the price though.
