CEL help
My check engine light went on in my car while I was accelerating up a hill. The car hesitated for a second, and now it seems to be driving okay, if anything it's a bit quieter.
The light is still on. How do I find out what it means? I can't take the car to the dealership until Tuesday.
This sucks!

CEL fixed....
Car was low on oil. Reset ECU, no CEL now ;-)
I realized that I was in the canyons a lot over the last 2 weeks. Lots of VTEC= Lots of burning off oil....
I put in 2 quarts of Supersyn 5w30, reset the ECU... Car's running like a top!
Thanks!

if you reset your ECU, your CEL will go away, but won't solve your problem. The problem will STILL be there.
You have to jump the code to see what the problem was and where it was occuring.

It's running well now. I'm still taking the car in Tuesday to get it checked out (better safe than sorry)
Thanks Skunk2nr!
