i just bought a 98 civic with ls bottom and gsr head and the throttle cable was rigged! bad! and i took it to a shop and they said i need a gsr cable with the gsr cable bracket that screws to the throttle body so i got it and it doesnt reach. with the new bracket it forces the cable to go past the throttle body and come back to it and it doesnt reach that way so im at a loss??

 

either you have something wrong or wrong cable.

you need the GSR bracket that will bolt on to the throttle body and a GSR throttle cable that will be the correct length.

what that shop left out is that you need the gsr throttle cable pulley. it goes a different direction so it all works.

I had the same problem with the pulley. I did the dumbest thing, I was switching my b16 pulley to the gsr one and i got them mixed up and put the b16 one on upside down LOL it didnt work.

 

coo thanks man any idea where i can get the pulley? i looked online but didnt find it unless thats not the correct name?
