My 95 civic coupe with a b16a with type R cams msd modded cap and rotor and the car is on Ectune. The past few days I have been driving fine. Then the other day the battery light come's on and the car dies at the stop light. So new battery and plugs and all the car does it crank.

p.s just also found oil leaking for the head gasket down on the front of the block.

 

Does the fuel pump prime?

Is there bright white spark at the plugs?

Any CEL codes?

 

The is a CEL when you first try to start the car, you can here the full pump, There are no white rings are the plug wires. My spark plugs where black as hell thought....like I couldn't even clean them off they where that bad.

 

Does the CEL turn on and then off after 2 seconds when the key is turned to ON(II)?

OK!!! not solved....damn it man...so I did the spark plug test with spark plug tester and I'm getting spark here and there. So what should I do...

A) replace the blaster coil
B) replace the whole dizzy

 

bump for a solution!

Buying a new blaster coil today...wish me luck
