Default 97 CIVIC CLUSTER AND WIRING ISSUES, I BELIEVE

ok i got a 97 honda civic dx and i am having a problem. for some odd reason when i turn the corner lights and then head lights on the heat hand rises and so does the fuel hand raises and none of the lil lights for check engine or like srs will come on and also if i just turn the corner lights on it raises slower than if the head lights are on they raise faster i thought it may have been cluster so i got a ex cluster and it still does it and i dnt know where to start besides pulling out dash but if any1 has any info or ideas please lmk thanks

If you remove (1) fuse 30 or (2) fuse 32 or (3) both fuses, does this prevent the cluster problem when the light switch is turned to the parking lights position?

ok i tried that and it still did the same stuff but i also notice that none of the cluster lights work when u turn lights on its pretty much like clusters dead but when lights or corner lights r on the fuel gauge goes up

Are you saying that removal of both fuses 30 and 32 does not prevent the temp or fuel gauge needle from rising when the light switch is in the parking lights (not headlights) position?

Holy crap. It's Friday, and I'm under the influence of multiple beers. Some punctuation and proper sentence stucture would be greatly appreciated.

The language of the Mayans may have been easier to decipher than this:

I'll try again tomorrow before drinking a beer. But you, sir, seriously need to become familiar with spelling, commas, and periods.

super LOLZ!!!

may i suggest to stop bieng so lazy and use full words...

BUT through my experiences of driving with no hazard switch,i found out that the turnn signals have a circuit through the swith so i would maybe get another switch and see what happens then.

im no expert but could be a place to check

which switch theturn signal switch which is what i am thinking or the hazard switch. i sorta think the switch also cause you have to turn the steering wheel for it to happen sometimes ima try that and see what happens hopefully itll fix that problem

is there away to test it, cause the turn signal switch is 125 bucks and hate to spend that and it not be the problem. also why would it only do it on high beam and work fine on low beam except when you push the hazards in the stop working all togeather?

well i clearly said the hazard switch, but maybe the way i worded it made it unclear.
i drove around without a hazard switch(due to my radio relocate project and had to run an errand) and the turn signals did not work. hooked it up and they worked again. i was testing another one and then i found out it was faulty because i had to manually hold it for the hazards to work and when i put the right turn signal it did not work and when i put the left it would blink abnormally. so after all this i came to the conclusion that there are circuits for the blinkers that run through the hazard switch.

i would go look at a scrap/junkyard for one as they should be inexpensive and see if that fixes any of ur problems
